Being an Olympic Ambassador

Being an Olympic ambassador is a life time experience! Our responsibilities are one of the key things about being an am Olympic ambassador, e.g. attending meetings, thinking of competitions and setting up the committee. Every Tuesday the committee meets and reports on what is going on and suggests new ideas.

Coming up soon is a dodge ball tournament for KS2; this will take place on the last day of term Friday 30th March. If you have any ideas or info please contact Sophie or Spencer

New Responsibilities!

Canonbury was a buzz of activity as voting fever swept across the school. The year 6 children were given the opportunity to put themselves forward for positions of responsibility this year, presenting to the rest of the school.

The selection process involved making an application andwriting a speech, which was then presented to the whole school in assembly. All children from years 3 to 6 were asked to vote. The votes were then taken in and counted.

The winning children were announced in assembly and received their badges from Matt, who shook their hand and congratulated each of them on their achievement. I am looking forward to working with the children this year.

I am very confident they will all do an excellent job.
