Canonbury is a community primary school right in the heart of Islington. It serves a diverse and vibrant community. Parental engagement in the life of the school is exceptional and a tradition that we work hard to maintain. The school has a long history; founded in the latter part of the 19th Century the site benefits from some extensive outdoor play space.

The school building is in the Victorian board school design and stands proudly overlooking the Union Chapel. Transport links for the school are good with the location being close to both Essex Road  and Highbury and Islington Stations. Upper street with its excellent bus links and shops and restaurants is also a short walk from the school.
